Bryn Woodlands House

Bryn Woodlands House is a Family run 4 Star 9 bedroom Guest House situated in a picturesque tree lined street minutes’ walk from the town Centre of Colwyn Bay.

Ideally located for the town centre, train station, Theatre Colwyn, Erias Park as well as many local restaurants. The varieties are: Portuguese/Italian, Chinese, Indian, Traditional pub food, depending on your taste.

The rooms are all individually decorated to suit the ambiance of the Victorian building. We have single rooms up to superior king size, as well as 4 poster rooms. All rooms are en suite with Flat screen TV’s, hair dryer, Tea and coffee making facilities.

Bryn Woodlands is a short drive to Llandudno, The Welsh Mountain Zoo (free shuttle from available from the station), Conwy, Bangor, Caernarfon, Betws-Y-Coed, Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey and many other beautiful places of North Wales. The newly refurbished beach is only 5 minutes’ walk from our front door.

Our breakfast consists of buffet with traditional cereals, fruits & Juice. Our cooked breakfast is all a la carte, with a traditional full if that’s what you like, to something lighter like Smoked Salmon in Scrambled egg or Locally sourced Poached Duck egg with Welsh ham.

Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.00am Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 9.30am on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Rooms need to be vacated no later than 10.30am on the day of departure.

Choice of Beaches

We are very proud of the fact that you have several beaches to visit and enjoy. Several of our local beaches, are regularly voted Britain’s best. There are many activities to be found from surfing, swimming, enjoying a walk through rock pools or sunbathing on the sands. If you enjoy walking then you might like to try out our Wales Coastal Path or visit nearby Llandudno, recently voted third top UK destination.

Magical Welsh Castles

North Wales is steeped in history with a fantastic heritage. You will find many castles to visit, there are over 600 castles throughout Wales and we are very close to the magnificent Conwy castle and the picturesque town of Conwy. If you travel a little futher you could visit the stunning Caernarfon Castle which is said to be the most expensive castle ever built by a king of England, and there are many more to choose from.
